This is the last of the Goldilocks oak for now. I have about 6 cords of Goldilocks size mixed hardwood I will start cutting tomorrow morning.

They are mostly nice sized. I did push the limits of what can easily be picked up because I’m running out of Goldilocks. Those rounds should be gone before noon tomorrow.

What an absolute pleasure to work in this weather after the humidity of the last 4 weeks or so.

You might as well go hang with T.Jeff Veal given those temps.

I scored 10 more ibc totes so this brings me up somewhere over 50 but less than 55.
I hardly ever get any hickory so I made sure to pull this aside. I got two bins filled up. May be enough for a third. Time will tell.

That's a great score on the totes. We haven't gotten any new totes lately. But picked up our 2 empties from a neighbor and prepped 2 more tall ones we had available.

Finished one oak pile this week. It comes in at 105 feet long. Also finished a mixed hardwood pile. My guys got a little sloppy and let it spill into the pile next to it. Not really a big deal but I like to keep things neat. Working on this last oak pile. It’s currently about 65 feet long. Have the tw6 staged on this pile of big silver maple, ash, and a little poplar. All fast drying wood.

Nope. Just hard to read old fashioned feet and inches.
