    That sucks
It would be nice if August "wood" be dry but the way the weather has been this summer on the east coast, I won't hold my breath.

    I guess it’s no longer Muskogee…

Amazing what spending 5-6 days in 98-100* heat suddenly what 80* feels like.

I am still slowly working on clearing an area for my new drain field. I think I am down to only having to drop another 6 or 7 trees. Just before I quit for the day I dropped 2 trees, one cherry and one hickory. I will clean them up tomorrow and cut the trunks into 80 inch sections. Glad they are not really big. Starting next Tuesday we are in for a stretch of 90 degree plus heat. I am trying to do all of my cutting in the morning. I may be able to cut all of the trees with my 192T.

I think her rate is about 1 beer per day.. plus pets and treats per chuck.

But I gotta transport her.. so the rate goes up a slight bit.

    Book soon.

I just am used to calling her my pup.. regardless of her true age.

Guess I should be out here more.. Easy to lose track of things after a bit.

Ah, there it is, thank you. I am not able to use the search tool on this site very well. I must be remembering May as the month the new card came in.

Yes. Central air delivered through the ductwork. We usually wait for the evening breeze off the lake and don't use the AC much......until.......

This summer, we have used it more than the first and second summer combined though!

It was 59 this morning so I finally used a chainsaw clearing some cherry and pine from some trails.

Because I lost two pounds in a day, I had a higher calorie intake yesterday from the previous day (7/20/23 = 1204), yesterday was 2121 which put a pound on the old frame, 196 this morning.

Today it will be lower (I'm at 1118 after supper) I'm not sure I'll add anything tonight but if I do it will be 2 small snicker bars, I think they're 80 calories per bar.

I hit the scales tomorrow morning and then pick a weight I want to be at and then consume the amount of calories too stay at that weight.

Attached is an older picture of dessert for tomorrow and the rest of the week.

It's in a mostly cabin area, but you could live there full time if you wished. It's a nice place.

Slow day overall. Had to order new chipper belts (four). I smoked them when I jammed an oversized limb in the feed.
Was cutting limbs and moving and stacking with the grapple ,right at sunup.

this made for a late afternoon nap. Now I have a recorded bit of westerns to choose from. Thinking Cheyenne Social Club. But the part where the brothel under threat of cannon fire may make me cry.

Thought I had better post some pics so none of you think I am just making up a good story:thumbs::thumbs:First pic is the spot I am clearing.
DSC04412.JPG Two views of what I have dragged out so far.

DSC04415.JPG Drain field stretches from the front of the pic to the bent oak that looks to be by the pole barn. The 5 trees on the right are coming out.
DSC04416.JPG These are the last 7 trees I have to take down. At least they are close to the wood piles. Box Elder, oak, live elm and dead elm make up the 7.
