We had 61.5 this morning, the scales read 198.4 this morning for a loss of 1.2 pounds from the day before.
Ocean temps have been going up. This usually isn't good for lobstering. Another problem is it allows storms like hurricanes to find their way here while they are still very strong. So far our summer season hasn't been good. It has rained more often than not, esp. on the weekends. I went outside for an hour this afternoon, but had to come back in due to poor air quality. Seems we are still getting the smoke from Canada's forest fires.
Ocean depends on where. I went to some friends in Machias Friday to get a bunch of lobster. They are just starting to get decent numbers. Another friend in Georgetown is slowing down and started the end of May with good numbers. Cutler 5 miles from bucks harbor where I got these doesn’t get good numbers until at least October. Makes no sense at all.
Finally have a morning under 70's so the window fans are hard at work to bring the 67* air inside. Of course the humidity out there is 85%, but it still feels cooler than the 76* and 69% humidity inside, so I'll take it.
Turn you furnace fan (if you have a force air system) on too to recirculate the air. Helps use cool the house too at night.
We didn't get a smoke problem yesterday and the weather was great! We need more of this and the forecast has us with only a couple days in the 80's, and then only 82.
Thanks Jason I definitely love having the motorcycle and the truck paid for but the wife said now is as good a time as any to take on a payment so let's roll the dice
That's another reason we jumped on it I haul lots of plywood and melamine. Plus the logs and brush. I use all 8' of the bed. LOL
Nice truck 41FanForLife BUT they are all nice when new. I hadn’t had a car loan in 20 years… then I got married I had a once A year car payment between $600 and $1500… called state safety inspection
