Can’t give lettuce away fast enough. This has been cut 4-5 times.

Came back from vacation and the garden has gone ape chit!
Tomato and zucchini plants are out of control. My wife cut 4 zucchinis when I was gone and have about 12 more growing with just 2 plants. Too bad I don't eat zucchini.

Watermelon plants looking great. My Bush bean plant aren't bushes, but the vining variety, so I had to make a trellis. Did pull a handful of beans off.
    Cukes spreading out.
A deer ate my potatoe plants that I had in a container. So hopefully the straw bale method works.

That's who get mine when they sit in the house too long, or if I leave them on the plant too long and they turn into dark green baseball bats. :whistle:The birds go gaga over them, especially the seeds inside. In that way they never go to waste.

Our zucchini are just starting to get some small ones on. Garden is slow this year, well water just keeps it alive it seems. Now we have been getting rain it is like supercharged. We like all things zucchini, lasagna being a favorite but I like bread, cake, muffins, grilled or cut small on a salad.

Just got back from our property up north. Despite not being there since Memorial Day weekend and virtually no rain, it is not doing too bad.

I have plenty of tomatoes but they're still green. Saw a few cucumbers have started. With the number of blooms there are, I should have cukes coming out my ears.

Still picking zucchini and green beans.

Picked wild raspberries from the property and made jam yesterday. 3 containers of this size so far

Ive been trying to get the bushes to take over the banks and spread. Seems to be working. I have enough to give to my sister, since my brother in law mowed her plants down. :saw:

Watering the watermelon plants today and I see the mint creeping over . So I decided to do something about it. Pulled back the grass clippings and straw and roots galore!

Here is some pics of my neighbors “garden”. No one lives in the house but the old couple that did live there, gave it to their daughter. She and her son take care of the property and grow veggies. There is much more but I didn’t walk up to the other mini-fields.

    Recently planted corn.
