Neither I'm afraid, just a new or poorly trained nurse.

20 minutes and 14 seconds for my 2nd session, just over 1 mile with 146 calories burned. I went at a higher speed and incline for the second session. Back to ZZ Top for this session.

I haven't listened too Canned Heat in a few months so we'll get that on the CD/Laser Disc player tomorrow for the second session.

Hopefully the scales read less tomorrow morning than the day before.

Company will begin showing up this evening. Gonna have a houseful!

Cutting the lawn today and getting the brisket prepped for tomorrow. Probably make a last minute run for supplies sometime also.

I heard your scale is happy that you don't get on it more often!

This morning after coffee I did 22 minutes, 1.13 miles with 140 calories burned. The music was changed to Lynyrd Skynyrd's Innyrds.

I plan on two more sessions on the treadmill today with the next one cut back to 15 minutes.

The scales read 201.2 this morning.

14 minutes 57 seconds on the treadmill for a calorie burn of 100. The plan is for another 20 minute session this afternoon.

I have four of the machines. I get four different readings. Enough so that you would think they were from other people. The only ones I trust are when using the stethoscope and inflatable cuff. I think the automatic ones they have in the hospitals are OK, but they are way more costly than the ones you get at the drugstore. bathroom scales aren't much better. I have two of them sitting side by side. One day they are 4 oz. different, another day they are 5 lbs different. When I was in the hospital, my wife brought in my home bp machine. We tested and compared it with the hospital one. Results were about 10 points off.

The last four days of my weight loss diet, I'm calorie counting. Today was a wrap with Hellman's Mayonnaise, lettuce and some hot pepper rings. I'll say 700 calories which is more than what it actually is.

Supper will be another hot tomato salad with half a wrap for dunking in the juice. One large tomato should be around 33 calories, the extra virgin olive oil we use is 120 calories per tablespoon, I'll figure 4 tablespoons for 480 calories, add 110 calories for half a wrap for a total of 623.

The treadmill sessions will be over 300 calories burned but I'll use 300 for today so that will leave me at 1023 calories for today.

If all this doesn't get me under 199, I'm not sure what will.

I changed some info since I forgot the half a wrap when having the hot tomato salad and some other calories were left out.

Scales and thermometers. Not exactly worthless but certainly not accurate.
I don't even have a bathroom scale any more. My waistline is a fairly good indicator of where I need to be.

Watch that yooper, I'll get in touch with Mrs. yooperdave and have her demand you move that wood stack again!

    How's that brisket coming along?
