Took an old pallet rack and flipped it upside down, cut a couple feet off and decked it with 3/4” plywood. Have the splitter set up at one end and it slopes slightly that way. I will set rounds up in the table with the tractor and use the the splitter winch to bring them to the splitter. Put some 2x4’s under to keep everything in place and sure it up a bit and slapped some Thompsons on it for longevity. Excited to try it but two days on it in this heat- gonna have to wait on splitting….

Your planning to buck the logs to rounds on that?

    no sir.
I will buck them then set them on the table with tractor grapple. Table is 20’ long so will hold a bunch. I will pull them to the splitter with winch.

I am going to use the legs I cut off this rack to make a bucking station actually. It will sit close to the table.

my ultimate goal is to never bend over again. Hahahaha !!

I see a large table that could hold a lot of FHC GTG members fueling up with food. LOL. That’s one way to skin that cat

A GeToGether with a group of hoarders that will make firewood, eat and/or socialize usually in front of a fire. Some host multi-day events.

This was the first for Connecticut to the best of my knowledge. Hosted by jo191145

Great time with a group of like minded people.
