Big treat tomorrow night for supper, chicken from the grill with a hot, hot tomato salad and another small bowl of ice cream before my last six days of my weight loss. I was hoping to get some saw time tomorrow but by the looks of the trails, I better get the trail mower out. Since the snow and ice left, we've only taken two ticks off the dog so keeping the grass mowed seems to be helping. I still have some stump removal that I'll do, just got to make some time for it.
Guess about 1.75” not bad here. Couple older gentleman that go out with a flat shovel wheelbarrow takes them hours and it’s humid out. Takes me 15 minutes to do job and 30 minutes of chatting
I was out cutting again this morning and when I quit for the day, I still counted 10 trees to come down yet. It seems when you are clear cutting, trees spring up behind you. All I am trying to clear is a spot 100 feet by 45 feet. It hit 94 this afternoon so I was not out then.
Meanwhile up at the Forks where my daughter and son inlaw have a camp. They are not being flooding like these other camps are.
That’s a hunting outfitter in Jackman. Bulldog camps, fairly old places. Wiped out most of the property and buildings from what I heard today.
So sorry for your loss. We lost our lab earlier this year. It's hard on the whole family. You too have a great 4th!
Always a tough decision but it's part of the contract that we all agree to when we invite a pet into the family. It took us over 15 years before we got another one...(two). Hope you decide not to wait as long as we did!
Haven't heard much for fireworks in the area at all. Very quiet weekend and very quiet last night. Noisiest thing was the pump for the neighbor's (rented) bouncy house and they shut that off when it got dark.
8 racks of ribs going on the pellet grill in a few moments. Hope everyone has a nice peaceful day off. Going to try to do nothing at all today
