A former coworker uses an old silage wagon as a portable wood shed...he chucks it full and parks it close to the OWB...he has the PTO powered by an electric motor now...just flips it on when he needs more wood brought up to the front.
I saw that too. When I was a young lad we had one for cleaning the gutters. It was very handy. In winter when we no longer could spread manure on fields. the boom was long enough so we just kept piling it up in the barnyard until the snow melted and frost went out. Then came the nasty work of cleaning all the pens and spreading all the manure. it was always good if the wind was right.
