I use K cups and a Walmart coffee brewer. $20 for the machine +tax delivered. Had it two years now. Use it everyday. Normally only one cup. I like the McCafe coffee. Creamer added, no added sugar. Best way to start my day. Read the reviews on YouTube.
Tornadoes, that’s what’s up today. A few miles from us, one hit again. No casualties have been reported but power is out and may be a while. My HF inverter generator is at work once again. have plenty of fuel and no need for AC.
Thanks Larry, thewoodlands mentioned it too, neat deal but graze on hot 1/2 cup refills all day. Abbynormal to most that drink a cup.
Have you been running vinegar thru it on a regular basis? I've heard the newer models are very picky about that (not sure how you would solve that if it won't run now though). My old Mr. Coffee got cleaned like that probably twice a year, but I've already cleaned my new one a couple of times. Also, are you sure the delay button wasn't hit in error?
Poor wildwest all of these questions without coffee. Brain does not function… with low caffeine. I only drink 2-3 cups a day but 20oz insulated cup
Even after a big bowl of ice cream last night and then two ice cream cones, I hit a new low of 199.8 this morning. The early forecast for the rain we'll get throughout this week was 1 to 2 inches, so far we've received just over half an inch.
I tried several brands of coffee sold in Kcups. I don't like coffee that tastes anything like Starbucks. McCafe, Dunkin, Green Mountain are good ones for me. I like coffee that tastes much the same way as the aroma it has while brewing. Best thing about kcups is that it is always fresh, and the taste is always consistent. I get my coffee from Sams Club. Come in a case of about 90.
Thanks BB, I just checked if delay was on with fingers crossed but no luck. I have not cleaned it, it's not even 6 months old, I opened it and started using it Dec 30 2022. I read the aluminum tubes that heat the water are picky just as you mentioned, but google leads me to believe the old ones we've always used work the same way and never clogged. The only thing I can think of is those tubes, or the electronic keypad is malfunctioning, do you know of any other possibilities?
Life is too short to fight with a coffee maker. Toss it and get another. Enjoy your coffee, that is what counts.
Called Ninja, it's under warranty, they are replacing the base. Except $20 for shipping and handling, I don't know how much he paid for it but I took the warranty offer. I asked him for another brewer til the new base arrives and he said my old brewer is in the barn The cowboy coffee I've been drinking from the backpacking camp perk is harsh.
