    Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. Had some more good rain last night, cloudy with showers today. Another 7AM-7PM day. I did get another chain sharpened last night, then our son came over for a visit...
    Maybe I can get the last 2 chains done tonight.

    65/87 sunny.

    Planning to saw lumber and haul things today.


    Yesterday, I hauled one load first thing in the morning, then we cut 67 cedar logs into cants, now they have to be delivered to the buyer sometime today.

    Normally I have a very good sense of smell, but any more I hardly notice the scent of cedar.

    If I don't work with it for a week or two I'll notice the smell a bit, but once I'm in the zone sawing logs I don't notice much of anything.

    Good morning! 75F and sunny, a little cooler today. Plans changed last night so I made a few bundles for the stand and split about 1/16 cord of ash. Customer messaged me about a tote of shorts so if he picks that up, I'll need to split more. Dentist this afternoon, a little rest and then music practice at church. Have a God day!

    Yes for sure it is definitely time consuming! It probably took the guy 20 minutes to cut all the wire and it's ginna take me ALOT longer to put it back together!

    That is strange. When I was milling I always enjoyed the scent of each log as I was sawing.

    On another note, our two milk cows ran away this evening, please pray for them to return.
    They went into the "big woods" behind our place, thousands of acres of no man's land....
