Greetings everyone. I figure it’s time to post some pictures of my hoard and helpers. I’ve been reading FHC for probably five or six years but never had the time or expertise to successfully sign up I tried once before and couldn’t figure it out but I now have a little more experience with electronics. So I’ll give this posting thing a try. I’ll start with my helpers, they aren’t great help yet but are learning and willing. Amelia is seven and Bailey is 4.
My main wood truck is 72 c10. It has a 307 in it. Best truck I’ve ever owned. I’ve retired it several times but it always outlived ever other truck. It’s been my daily driver off and on for 15 years.
Current splitter is a homemade unit. It’s work decent but I spend more time working on it then using it.
Nice looking stacks and family Took a pic of my mothballed speeco today. It’s pretty much a yard ornament that I lean pallets on.
It’s all the photos for now. I wont be bringing much more wood in for a bit I’m about at capacity now. I’m going to start storing the splits differently making a fence row around the property but I’ve run out of pallets for the moment.
Thanks. At least the speedco still has a somewhat of a function. I’m probably not going to fix mine till I have the new one or my wife will wonder why I need a new splitter
Welcome to the FHC Noth don’t let anyone fool ya.. my (not so lil anymore) girl can back tractor out of barn better than most. Been doing it since she could reach pedals. Been helping with splitter since 8..
I will ask my son if they have any pallets at his work, its in Boone. Also if you plastic there is a fella in Boone that sells them for $7 each. And welcome to the circus.
They like to run the lever on the splitter and I let them make their own stack last fall it was a very interesting stack. It got plenty of air flow.
Welcome and Nice to meet you Noth I have a similar pic of mine when she was younger in almost the same dress (skirt was orange) and flip flops on our wood just like your lil' one!
