Android antivirus

What is the best android antivirus protection?
Currently I have a phone with the "Google security" virus and it just crossed over to my tablet.
Getting about 75-100 notifications a day.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have used F-Secure for several years

 

I use AVG - both the antivirus and the Tuneup app. I have them both on desktops and laptops.

 

I use Norton's as that is what is on my desktop and laptop. I already had the license for 3 or 5 devices (which was cheaper than getting two separate licenses), so that played into my decision. But, there are some tablets that Norton's won't deal with unless you go thru extraordinary steps (I only know that to be true for Kindle Fire tablets - others are probably supported).

Try this to get rid of the issue on your Android. Here are steps to remove it for other devices.

 

Interesting. Never had a google device get sick before. Sounds like some kind of malware or trojan junk. Got any suspect apps loaded on your phone?

 

I too, use both of those with great results for several years now.

I'm clearing out a bunch of stuff that I have no clue why it is there.
Also the few apps I use l will remove and reinstall.

 

I just got a new phone a couple of weeks ago. It is amazing the amount of games and other junk gets pre-loaded. I don't play games, so took all those off plus a bunch Google and streaming apps (since I don't stream anything - and if I wanted to, I certainly wouldn't do it on a phone that I can barely see anyway).
