I'm totally looking forward to this. I'm planning to bring a leg of lamb to roast/smoke. I will need to work out details with the cooking bosses. Also, looking forward to bringing my pandemic-buy chainsaws and rifles. Ye haw! Looks like some pretty nice gear that your bringing along there Mike!

I've only ever had lamb once, can't quite remember how it tastes. I am sure that we can squeeze the leg in somewhere. You'd probably have to be the one cooking it because I have no clue how to cook lamb.

Just made up 3 quarts if sauce for the supper on Saturday.
    1 quart of Memphis BBQ
    1 quart of Apple BBQ
1 quart of mild ranch wing sauce

Didn't make it up yet but I am going to be making up some campfire sauce. That's good for topping burgers or dogs with.

I hope this will be enough sauces for the food that we have!

Sounds good. It will cook just like any roast, like beef. The Icelandic lamb that we raise is very mild flavor. Tastes like just basic red meat. Looking forward to sharing with everyone.

I had to make another post to one of my previous one because it wouldn't let me edit it. I added some extra info.

In case that you can't find the address for the GTG here it is...... I will be going back Wednesday afternoon to put out the signs helping to giude you to the site. The signs will have "GTG" with arrows pointing the way.

Simple directions if you are coming in on I-99 you will get off at the Pinecroft exit (can't remember the exit number). Travel through the light till you hit the stop sign at the tee, you will turn left, after you cross the bridge you will go around the bend and make the first right there will be a GTG sign there with an arrow ( if you pass the firehall you went to far), when you come to the next sign keep going straight, the next sign will be a little ways up the road then you'll turn right on to the dirt road. The next sign is for anyone bringing a camper otherwise continueon the road and past the clubhouse.

Anyone that needs stuff refrigerated can stop by the outdoor kitchen and put there food in the coolers (convenience stop coolers) there should be plenty of room.

I'm bringing some cookies (the eatable kind). Also saw where Scotty Overkill mentioned he has a "candle" for Friday night so I'll just bring one of the big boy candles for Saturday evening.

Let me know if this is acceptable... :emb:

I'll be honest, I have several big ones, I'm more concerned that we will even be allowed to burn them as we are borderline drought here......might wanna save them at yiur place for the next GTG.....

It's SUPER DRY here right now, haven't had any true rain in weeks.....
