Rocky mountain oysters anyone? Never seen or ate them and will be on my death bed thanking the good Lord for such.

No yams here either, but do like sweet potato fries.

I've seen them on the hogand have detached quite a few pair in my younger days. Always let someone else have the pleasure of eating them.

Its been a good long time since I've eaten mountain oysters... But Dad would slice them up and we'd make sandwiches out of them or just eat them hot off the skillet... One of Mom's babysitting parents had a cattle heard... They would do them all on a weekend and then have a mountain oyster feast...

Sorry but I prefer North Atlantic oysters on the half shell. Ice cold and raw. Don’t want to try any other types of oysters especially that dangling pair type.

I've only had oysters once... Thats when I was visiting the kid out at Norfolk Virginia... They had them on Happy Hour... Lets say that's a interesting flavor and texture...

Raw fresh seafood is an acquired taste. When you live 45 minutes from the ocean seafood is about like hamburger. Easily obtained. We eat seafood at least once a week. Scallops Friday night and fried clams tonight.

Hog oysters are almost inedible due to connective tissue, beef oyster on the other hand are very tender and tasty. Ate them many times. Hand a lot of fun with the college Agriculture Department’s annual testicle festival.
Also like sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts, some yams and occasionally I’ll eat liver and onions.

Rocky Mountain oysters = no problem!
Sweet potatoes and yams = definitely not a problem.

Actually there’s only two foods I really hate, and they’re both liver!!
Fastest way to ruin a perfectly good onion

Chaz is right...didn' t want all the male pigs growing up boars, markets don't want them with the family jewels attached. Small pigs were wrestled to the ground, a 2-300 lb one was tough. Put it in a barrel amd stand the barrel up.

Reminds me of "a couple weeks" back when I first started at Napoleon's.

We had one guy worked there for a couple of months, he was a farm boy from near Meadville Pa. guy was a riot.

So he's gotten engaged and is moving back, invites me and a coworker to his bachelor party.. let me tell ya, I had one helluva good time, even though there were small earthquakes every time ya went into the port-o-john.
    :hair:

They raised hogs, and I was told it was tradition for his buddies to get him drunk beyond recognition, and die his jewels with the antiseptic die they used on the hogs during castration.. I'll be darned if his buddies didn't have blue stained hands the next day.
    :rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:

Musta been about 40 guys there, a pig roast, and enough alcohol to to get twice that many drunk.
    :faint:

Slept in the truck that night.. feeling no pain.
