My son was having trouble w/ his Mike Lee 365sp. Took the tank off, cleaned everything up good, put new fuel filter and line on and back together. Every time I went to full throttle, it died. So back apart and take the top and bottom off carb. Yahtzee.

I didn’t find a hole or tear in the line and the filter wasn’t bad. No idea how all that got there.

Fitted the spikes NYH1 gifted me. He’ll love these. Somehow I’ll repay the favor!!

Also swapped out the muffler screen. Just need to grind the chain and he’ll be back in business.

Found the source of all that gunk. We always had trouble tuning the original carb on his saw (HD12), so I gave him the carb off mine (same saw), then I ordered a brandy new Zama. Turns out, my saws fuel line split and the filter fell off.

Had a little crap in the new one.

Also replaced the filter and line on my 357. First time pulling the muffin. 2010 saw I bought new, has cut a LOT of firewood in 13 years. Piston looking excellent.

Similar experience when I pulled my trimmer's muffler to clean it last week. That thing has a ton of hours for being 7 years old. Piston looks new other than slight discoloration.
