I used to think like that. I've even intervened a time or two. And I can tell you what will happen. In this case she will side with the guy and have charges pressed against you, and if you physically intervene in a situation that calls for it (not in a situation like in the picture but an actual assault taking place) you will have LOTS of explaining to do for the cops and the people you thought you were helping will turn on you. Trust me.

The year was 2016 when I saw a fox on top of a face cord of pine, maybe the fox just finished off a meal and decided to kick back for some rest. The fox was about 30 yards from our front porch.
