Wanted! Antique Chainsaw

I am looking for an old saw for a restoration project , if anyone might have something that might fall into this category please let me know.
Not looking for any specific make or model it just has to be "old" ; really old.

I was going to attempt a resurection not too long ago. A proprietary fuel system part is NLA so that stopped me in my tracks. I will continue to check for one now and again as I had a dirtbike in the same boat a couple years ago...searched the world over for a part with no luck. Would check ebay occasionally and low and behold, someone had dusted off three of the specific parts needed and sold them as NOS. This was 6-8 months after I knew I needed it. That was a good day.

The saw I wish to restore is the Echo that I used to watch my Father cut firewood with about 40 years ago. I think I may be in for a ride when it comes to finding a new chain for it also. Getting it to run would be good enough for me though.

 

How old are you looking for? I see lots of old saws on FBM

 

As old as possible , 50's era?

Im on FBM often as you know. ll let you know if anything good shows up. Do you have a price range? Condition?

 

Havent really thought about either one , figured I would cross that bridge when I get there.

 

Just happened upon this on FBM. Dont know the age but its old and cool looking. Note that its a lefty model...unless the pics are flipped.
