What The ROPS Is For

After all these years..I finally found a good use for the ROPS..in down position. A logging chain holder ! No comments from Safety Sam

 

If you put the ROPS UP, and hang the chains from it, they will swat you in the back of the head when you drive your tractor too fast. That’ll learn ya.

 

I could probably use a knock in the head every so often !

It's a new multi purpose implement

Budget conscious frugal types like me are always looking for multi-purpose implements.

 

Bet that tiller really winches those logs up quickly

 

How do you like those quick hitches? I've never used them before.

 

I don't know how I lived without them. Seriously worth it. I have old and new implements. This allows me to use all of them.
I hear theres fitment issues with the all in one quick hitches sometimes...and I wanted to avoid it.
Any tractor I have from here on out with have a set of Pat's on it !

 

Kind of the best of both worlds it would seem.

 

I'd say you are correct !
Especially on my BX. It's a category one 3 point...but the arms are short...and are bent a certain way . It's tight between the implement and tractor. Putting on the tiller ....well..im lucky I didn't blow out something I needed later ..trying to muscle it on at times.
Now with the Pat's...its 2 minutes. You have to get off the tractor to lock the latches..and install the top link. That's it !
And there's no swear words..or blown out body parts.
