It's still hoarding even if you buy it. Right?

This is what I need to do.
I was going to do it this past weekend but rain Saturday and the GTG on Sunday put a stop to production.

What's more important ? The GTG or doing mulch ; yup you guessed it ' no mulch!

The sale is usually multi-week. I hope this one is and you get what's needed.

I haven't ventured there yet but willing to bet they will have it here in town as well. Right now we have black mulch that is going on two years old since I didn't do it last year.
Since I have to scrape out some of the old stuff it might be time for a color change. On the list of things to do this weekend coming up.

My son (16) was given his great grandfather's 1935 plymouth PJ deluxe (all original). His great grandfather bought it new almost 90 years ago. He wants to fix it up and get it back on the road. He said he wants to carry his chainsaw in the trunk and have a hitch so he can pull a small trailer for getting firewood. He also said he would like to swap the motor for a ford 300-6 and a modern 5 speed. We were talking yesterday about putting a transverse engine (3800) under the back seat. Just throwing around different ideas and seeing what sticks. The original motor still spins free, but he wants a bit more than 80hp.

Small block chevrolet , by far the most common motor for a swap. Sure you can go with anything you want but why not just keep it as simple as you can.
Parts are all around and you can build an everyday driver on pump gas that puts out 400+ HP with your eyes closed.

I'm not sure a v8 would fit under the skinny hood.

Bit of a stretch here perhaps, but a couple years ago we finally got snow tires for the cars.
This summer I came across a decent enough of a deal and got a little summer work to pay for the rims. Had them mounted to the rims today.
Got all 8 tires and 8 rims to the shop w the lift back bungeed down, and once they were mounted could close the hatch. Not bad for a hybrid.

This poor neglected thread needs some love.

My newish minivan passed the wooding test this morning, with some black locust.
