Almost put the motor in the new to me tractor, But noticed the crank is 1 1/8" and the old was 1". So Time to look for a crank or fix the old motors crank and swap it out?

For now, I'll put the 18hp in from the Broadmoor. I need power steering with me gimpy shoulder. I don't want surgery and if I take it easy on it, I have no issues.

Don't need a crank....just a pulley with 1 1/8" hole, and same diameter pulley. Call Taryl.

Last year we pulled several vines out of it. This should be a good year(we hope). Loads of buds ready to bloom yet. I'll try to get a snap of it in full bloom.

Taryl said get a breaks and scrap em! JK, Got the 18HP from the Broadmoor in it and running. Also going with the Broadmoor's 44" deck while I go throw the 50" the Prestige came with.

I'll likely pull the crank from the blown motor, Clean it up and mic it. Get a new set of rods, rings ect. Give it a rebuilt/refurb. Good hobby for me.

Its a sleeper, No show all go. Soon its turn will be will come. :makeitrain"

Sunday cruises to the drag strip and beer runner.

Out here in the Pac NW we get a lot of rain / snow and winter humidity is high....But we don't get the muggy heat like the folks out East.
I see pics of stoves from the East coast ...they are balls of rust...We don't get that here..
Our stoves are clean inside....The parts inside the mechanical cabinet are still bare steel

    Dust....Oh yeah buddy.
Summer heat and dry brings in a lot of dust from the horse paddocks .
Winter sees the fine gray ash from the pellet stoves (Shells leave a light gray ash)

Just part of living in the sticks and dealing with a heat source that burns solid fuel...
