Wonderful Sunday here. Sunny warm with a slight bug-proofing breeze. Took the wife and my dog friend out to visit my son and his family. He was busy using his sawmill to reduce pine trees to lumber. I am amazed every time I see a pine tree log go on the mill and off comes lumber. This time he is cutting boards for his garage. The foundation is done, and drainage is in. My dog, Riley, loves to go there and visit with his dogs.
We had a party at a town park pavilion for my oldest boy graduating high school. All his cousins made it together for the first time in 2 years. Most important gift was from his great-grandfather. My grandpa gave my son his Army Service Bible from his years in the army starting in '55. The old family church gave it to my grandpa when he joined the Army. My grandfather loaned it to a young family friend when she joined the military. It went with her to Iraq, Afghanistan....and she just finished her military service and returned it to grandpa with a letter detailing the journey it went on with her. Now it's my boys and he should be going to basic in late summer, if the paperwork gets completed.
So they screwed up the hint for 1 down, it should be "doo" (as in hairdoo). A "do" is entirely different (event-happening) I knew an New Hampshire denizen would get that. After all, we have The Flume.
