I love that steel cage! And the snake. Snakes don’t bother me a bit. Thanks for not killing it.

After reading about the Dekay's Brown snake, glad I didn't kill it too. Main diet is snails and slugs...

Nice score. I recently grabbed about 50 pounds of wire about the size of my pinky from our dumpster. Some work had been done a couple years ago and the electricians piled all the wire in a cart that sat since. Someone was cleanining up the area where it was and tossed it. Better me >>scrapyard, than the landfill. I ain't too proud to skin some wire.

Now if some vendors would ship us some plastic skidded merchandise. That well has been dry for some time now.

Thank you for not killing the snake. :)

The connotations were considered before I grabbed it. lol Old stuff with fabric outer jacket. We upgraded a bunch of electric and computer stuff these past five years. There was more in there than I took, but mostly small guage stuff where time/effort outweigh value. Got lucky I spotted it about half hour before trash truck came.

I do IT type work so get communication wire all the time. Have a 330-gallon tote getting close to full. It all adds up.
