There is times when i just want to grab a chainsaw, and not have to mess with mixing the gas and getting the saw going. I don't have a lot to do just some limbing i bought a Hart 12 inch 20 volt first to see how it worked with the small bushs, and was impressed with how it preformed. I sure still won't get rid of my CM261 Stihl 18 inch or my CM211 Stihl 16 inch Stihl, but i am really impressed with what Hart has done with their new 18 inch 40 volt brushless chainsaw, it comes as a kit in with the saw a 40 volt 6 ah battery a fast i hour charger and a carrying case. I guess as i am getting older i am wanting to get things done without a lot of extra work.
I did a little playing with my new battery chainsaw, cut some old dead bush limbs, had ben using my 20 volt 12 inch and it worked but not super fast. Tried the 40 volt 18 inch today and it just flashs through these old dead limb stubs, can't wait to really get into some bigger stuff.
I see what you mean. 261CM / 211CM....I thought there was some new model saw that wasn't an MS261 / MS211. I forget about the CM after the numbers. Lol
