Get him a little buddy to run with in the yard. That will keep him in good shape. I really think two dogs are easier to care for than one. They keep each other busy and out of trouble. I always had two, but now the family won't allow it because of my age and disability.

I told the wife when we rescued him, He needs a buddy to be less dependent on us. She hasn't decided yet.

Many of us have our little FUR CHILDREN and they are sooooo much a part of the Family

We have our little Sphynx kitty "Chupi"
Last Saturday started light most others.....I rolled out at 3:30 am and made my coffee and fed kitty.

All was well until mid morning.....Chupi Barfed big time and then blew up the cat box.

The rest of Saturday and Sunday she spent mostly in her condo.....Eating and drinking very little.

Very strange....she is an indoor only kitty and we do not have other critters in the house.

Monday was somewhat better....but still off her game....Eating and drinking a bit more, but still blowing up the cat box.....

I was concerned by this time and decided to take her to the Vet.
Got her in on Weds late.....

By this time she is better.....still off her game a bit.

$480 later and a full exam including a sample from said cat box...../WE should have answers by Saturday.

Vet prescribed some meds and the little girl has been a real trooper when it comes to taking them.

Last night Chupi was really getting back up on her game.

Sitting at the dinner table with us in her fav chair.....And right there to get her before bedtime snack.....

Snuggling close all night and this morning at 3 am ready to get the day under way.

We have a few theories as to what may have caused the issue....none of which we can prove....

Will be interesting to hear from the Vet Saturday and possibly learn what was wrong...

Our little Fur Friends certainly leave us Hoooomans in the lurch as they can't tell us what is wrong or what spider they ate or ??????

As of this morning....Things seem to be well on the mend......Kitty Ate her food and drank plenty of water.

She crawled back in bed a bit ago....Pretty much SOP for her....

So things have been a bit unsettled around the house these past few days.....
The other half is battling Sciatic the past few days.....Never quits.
May have to get the other half to see the Acupuncture Doc if the issue does not resolve.

We do this about twice a year ....."Poke E Man" always gets things back on track.....

    We shall see....

Hope Chupi continues to improve Snowy Rivers and there are no nasty surprises from the testing. You are probably right though, something that comes on that quickly may mean she found the wrong bug to ingest. Hope your other half gets relief from his pain, whether it works out on its own or he has to be a pin cushion for a while :)

I purposely never list my birthday on any site I visit. I don't need to be reminded about how ancient I am.

I'm so old if my wife made me a cake with candles, I'd have to call the FD to extinguish them.

We stopped once it set off the smoke alarms, By the time the last candle was lit. The first burned to the frosting. Whole cake nearly went up. Poof even!!
