I had a former student of mine contact me. He’s about 35 and recently bought a house. He cut down some oaks to make way for a shop and wanted to know if I wanted the wood. About half were cut up and the other half still in tree length. Another guy stopped by a few days ago and got some but not all. I swung by after dinner with my dump truck and saw and got this load. It’s probably just shy of a cord. Took an hour and 20 minutes to cut and load it up and then I was able to make it for most of sons base ball game which was only 2 miles from the wood. Glad I wasn’t there when he cut them though…take a look at this stump!

Or not enough...not sure which! Stuff like this is how people end up with higher insurance rates if they own a chainsaw! Hopefully this is not on a busy road where a treehugger might see it and try to have someone charged with assault!
