lawn tractor, that is. Needed to replace a troublesome Yardman and was shopping. Saw that Lowe’s sold these along with Deere. Checked out Facebook marketplace and got this one with 200 hours on it.

The seller had great maintenance done at the power equipment/Husqvarna dealer I have done a lot of business with.

52” in deck with hydrostatic transmission. Knocked out the lawn, barn lot, and other areas pretty fast. I figure if I get a few years out of it, I will hunt for another and use whatever add on things I accumulate. Has a bagger kit that needs some parts replaced.

Nice score! Bet that hydrostatic makes mowing a breeze.

Skier76 , yes it does, and it seems the safety switch that kills the engine when backing while the blades are engaged, stopped working. Makes a quick backup easier.

My dad has owned one for many years now. He's not one to show much love to OPE and it's been decent so far. Just a pair of spindles replaced which can almost be considered routine maint after the amount of hours he's used it.

My Husky lawn tractor has held up well. I just did a full service on it and it's in great shape. Kawasaki engine? You will get a lot of use out of it. I also use mine to pull a small trailer, great for around the yard.

Dok440 it had. 26 hp Briggs. Seems the 54” unit suited HP and likely engines each year. Included with this one was an aerator, that I will likely se in my yard and other areas.

The bagger system was pretty beat up and the chute that attaches to the deck was worthless. The new one arrived yesterday, so Monday I will give it a try.

I have mowed my upper pasture in parcels, and it is looking great. Normally use a bush hog every few weeks. Makes the property look better. Since I am now retired, I figure I can keep it looking good by mowing sections in thirty minute segments.
