Still haven't found it and still waiting on the new cc. Had to change over my Amazon payment method as an auto-ship is about ready to hit. I've been using my debit card instead of my unfavored backup cc for in-store purchases. It is tough remembering to writing the amounts in the register for my checkbook again.

After 10 years of having the same TV/DVR box, Xfinity is making me upgrade my cable TV equipment to X1. I got an email this morning about it and wondered if it was a scam since I haven't had any notices pop up when I check my email thru my account website. At the same time, the originating email address looked correct, but I wasn't convinced. Went to my account (never ever click on those email links) and looked around. Nope, no notice. So then I googled and found the article about older equipment that would not longer be supported and not function correctly at the end of May. The article gave me the way to check and sure enough, I've got to give in and get chit I don't need to replace equipment that is working totally fine for my simple needs.

I don't need voice command, I don't need streaming, and I'm not even sure that my old TV will work well with it (dollars to donuts the X1 remote won't work with the TV - my current Comcast remote has only ever worked to shut the TV down, not to turn it on)

The only good thing is they "say" that there is no additional cost from what I'm paying for my old TV box. Not sure I believe that, but we'll see.

Makes me glad I'm not a tv watcher. Mine sits there just to gather dust. I keep it only because my daughter in law watches it when she is here.

I think one of the tasks I’ll get done Saturday when I get home is teach the wife how to use her 5G hotspot on her phone so we can cancel mediacom for ouch the same reasons.

more billing stupidity than anything else and, I’m my eyes, a waste of money since I have a Verizon tablet with hotspot in my semi and now the wife has 5G hotspot capability.

you may want to consider that instead and just dump a land connection entirely

Got the final 3 of 12 cords of wood stacked in the shed before the 5 days of predicted rain start tonight. 3 years ahead is the place I want to be. Meeting with my Oncologist on tuesday to hear what my next move will be, so glad to have the wood issue under control.

'A veteran friend of mine has had two assaults of prostate cancer. Went to Boston last time and got some treatment that has him now clear of cancer. Also had some sort of implant so he isn't incontinent of urine. Says he is doing fine with it. Being a service connected veteran, he doesn't have to worry about the cost of the procedures.

This is the sprayer all loaded and tied down. I’ve got four 1/2” chains (48,000 of securement on a 10,500 pound load.)

This is what I see in the mirror of my 12’ wide load.

Honestly, I’m glad the duals are on the sprayer. They offer some protection for the sprayer booms which are 60’ wide I was told.

Too bad more drivers didn't understand you have limited views behind you. I try to always flash headlights when it's clear to change lanes.

    Not just that…

I’m a true 12’ wide at those duals.

center lane lines to fog line is 12’.

the booms above them are slightly, but not by much, narrower. So those duals are also protecting the spray booms.

there’s a car on the shoulder, I HAVE to move over to just not strike them.

people are idjits around semis as it is. Oversized they’re even worse.

FarmerJ Do you have to have an oversize sign on the front and back when you have a load that wide?

Banners front and rear, 8 flags to include on the widest points of the load, back and front of the trailer and front of the truck. Amber flashing lights on the rear of the truck and an amber mini bar on top of the cab.

Been such a warm spring; I had to mow yesterday..
Neighbor texts me at 9 am “can I borrow mower” it’s supposed to rain for next 7 days.. He doesn’t have a mower, has a service cut it but they don’t start until 15 if May:bug:

which is when we normally start mowing and college kids get summer jobs…

I know a lot of you guys are vehemently against letting people borrow equipment.. But his son works at the farm.. he runs my tractor better than I do:emb:
