PSA for everybody...don't forget to clean the coils on your fridge and/or freezer once in a while!
I haven't done ours in a bit, been thinking I need to check it, noticed that the fridge in the kitchen has a very light buzz to it lately, and seems to run more than it used to...pulled the covers off this morning and holy Toledo! The coils were totally plugged off in the front where they pull air in!
It sounds quieter, and while it is running right now, I bet it will be running less overall!

In another thread with wildwest , I mentioned cleaning out the termination of the dryer vent as lint will accumulate there also. Good time to check the entire dryer vent for lint buildup.

Darn, fridge has been on my mind too. I'll add it to my list along with the dryer.

    hope so.
From there I go to Nashville and then Charleston SC.

I’d rather be home splitting wood actually.

the entire thing is for sale if anyone knows anyone looking…

I’m done with it. No fun anymore and want to go to the next phase in my life, semi-retired.

Planted 35 White Pine trees yesterday. Ordered 30 from County’s Spring sale and got 35. Today will be planting 30 Black Cherry and 30 Sugar Maple.

Then my daughter and I need to transplant some other Maple she has grown from seeds and are now two feet tall. Have to get them out of a gardening box she planted them in and to an area where they can take off.

Been busy helping out one of my brothers here and there along with the regular work house. And trying to get some regular exercise in everyday. Awesome to be out walking in the nice weather.

Planting those 35 trees yesterday morning was more of a workout than I thought it would be. The Pine had a lot of roots. I broke my long handled shovel. Time to fix that or buy a new one with a strong handle. I think the one I broke was probably 50 years old.

You firewood hoarders have a good, safe, relaxing and enjoyable Sunday.

After a week of the 70's and 80's ( and only outside fire pit fires) they say there are winter storm warnings for Wisconsin. Here, just rain and maybe snow, but it isn't supposed to stick. Could be a foot of snow in western WI though Sunday night -monday. More sump pump running here.

Also happy belated birthday to Pallet Pete and JCMC

Oh yes. Around here it's dog hair getting sucked in to the grates. Easy to get to and clean, but in back where the coils are it's more work. My wife is all over cleaning this though.
