Any certain run of the mill electric chainsaws seem better than you expected? Used, Craigslist, garage sale, FB kind. I use a metal sawbuck from Northern I think it came from for limb wood. The MS250 has been the saw for it. I’ve been thinking of getting a electric chainsaw off the interweb since I see them so cheap used now a days. I have electric available where I usually cut. Never had one so I don’t know if they are more of a toy so I’m asking the group. Lenny Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The better ones from milwaukee Makita Husky etc cut better than most cheap gas saws I have a customer who has had a jonsered corded for years and it has a 16 on it for limb wood up to 10 inch he says it works well JB
Can't help but following. I do have a Makita top-handle 18-volt but haven't needed it yet. Picked it up for $199 but I see now it's $259. Isn't inflation wonderful, not! Makita 10 in. 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless Battery Top Handle Chain Saw (Tool-Only) XCU06Z - The Home Depot
Battery powered chainsaw Edit: oh wait...you are talking about corded saws? I have one...don't even know the brand...some elcheapo thing...it has a manual chain oiler on it! I just got it for trimming the occasional "too long" split to length in the garage in the middle of the winter...it works fine for that.
That’s right. I’m looking at Milwaukee cordless down the road because I’m team red and have a bunch or them but a used corded one is what I would like to have for this particular idea. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
