Finally got enough of a break in wind, to get to one of my tree removals I have lined up. Nothing major, easy afternoon. It's always amazing how much brush there is on these, no matter how small the tree is. Forgot to get one before I started cutting.
This is the culmination of years of effort. I used to burn nothing but cottonwood, and cedar trees, when I started burning firewood, because that's all I could get. It was all along creeks, out in the country. As the years progressed, I got better at tree work, and I started getting tree jobs in town and locust trees are all over in the towns out here. So, it just happens that I get a lot of locust. We do have a lot of elm trees too and I've done my share of those too, but it's mostly locust. If we didn't have locust out here, we wouldn't have much for any hardwoods. I'm sure thankful we do have so many and I get as much as I do.
