My BIL had a bunch of trees taken down and I posted about that haul a while back, but we apparently missed one when tagging them for the cutter. I noticed a few weeks ago that there was a dead oak just off the corner of the newly cleared space and it was leaning right towards where his new building was going. The builder called today and said he's ready to start earlier than expected and was hoping to start the end of this week. Me and little piney #2 ran over there this afternoon to drop it and haul the wood home. Nice quick drop with a wide open landing zone.
I would say it was a good choice to drop it plus you got a nice load of BTU's. Good job and great looking little helper there.
Nice when you have a clear spot to fell them. I get a bit nervous felling dead ones with all the widowmakers. Way to get it done there SP and SP jr.
