Currently 37 & burning red oak. Chilly weekend in the mid 50’s then back to the 80’s mid to late week.

No fire last couple days. The morning had some chill to it.
Got the stove back up and running with some poplar, cherry and a split or 2 of oak

Still have little over half a face cord in shed. Next week calling for 80s. I believe last fire of the season is approaching.

I have 26/72. Heavy frost on the ground and burning red oak. Might just be the last freeze of the season.

Probably seems good but scary when you realize it is only April and temperatures tend to keep rising up to mid or late July and the drop very slowly after that. The beaches might be crowded this summer.

Stayed above freezing overnight! 35 isn't too shabby for a low.

House was at 66 so yeah, built another fire in the furnace. The Kuuma Vapor Fire sure knows how to squeeze a lot of heat out of just a few pieces of wood. :handshake:

    40/68 right now.

Woke up at 6:30 to 31 and got an apple/maple fire going. 43 now quickly heading to the mid 50s. Coals are still putting out some heat.

Happy Easter everyone. Temps have already risen 30⁰ since 6am. Woke up to 28/63 and got another fire going in grandma bear in the basement and bumped the pellet stove to level two to take the chill off.
