LOL! And what a painting project it was Eckie!

Most of the snow is gone. Still a few pockets in shaded areas here and there. It’s been way too windy to burn when we’ve been up. Yesterday, we had a few gusts of 30+ MPH.

I’ll get some pictures of the the work today; more chipping, moving chips and rounds.

Got after it again today! Great weather for being outside and doing some work.

Here’s what we started with. Most of this is storm wood, with some wood I had piled up in the woods; basically the straight stuff near the trailer.

And the after! Took awhile, but chipped just about all of it.

Took all of the chips and spread them out on our “road” across the stream:

Technically, this is my wife’s saw. What a handy unit to have to zip off branches of limbs. Way easier than using loppers. This saw was really helpful this weekend.

Ended up with some decent wood out of this. This will all likely end up in the firepit. Ironically, this is all sections of trees and limbs; no full trees feel from the storm.

I still have a bit more wood to move. This is what was on the lawn, so it was moved first.

That's a good bit of cleanup work for sure, looks like you're on the down slope now. Nice!

Nicely done and gret use of the chips. I made an offer on one of those that was on FBM in Cheshire. Never heard back. Looks very handy.

It really is. It came with a package deal when I picked up a 48” walk behind mower from a friend. I’ve used it on an off in CT for some chipping here and there. This was the biggest job yet. It’s only a 5hp, so you have to be mindful of what you are chipping. That being said, it ate up mostly everything we threw at it. It’s a belt driven unit, so if it gets over loaded, the belt takes the stress vs the engine.

I was actually referring to the handheld battery pruner, but the chipper is too. Its not the Richard Crafts model!
