It’s 10 degrees here. Been snowing all day. Still very much winter. 76 degrees in the house. Burning Ponderosa Pine and Douglas Fir. About to call it a night.

Hope you all are staying warm!

44/68 with temps dropping and more wind. Cold start on a Oak load is feeling great! Really looking like the burning season is about over here. On to summer season.

71 at lights out last night so no wood into the furnace.

32/65 currently. Ended up with only 2-3" of fresh snow last evening but the bit of rain overnight settled most of it.

Yuck! This has been a bad winter/spring for illness. My whole family is sick right now with bronchitis. Somehow I managed to be the only one to not get it.

    Feel better soon, buddy!

We got up to 90f yesterday and then it was 34f when I woke up this morning. My sinuses are protesting.

I am happy to say I am burning nothing.
Shut down for the season , if I need to at this point I am going to turn the knob on the wall.
It was a good run , burned a lot of wood and saved a ton of money from going to the gas man but i'm done.

Time to get ready for the next one. Wood to split and stack and I will be back.
    Stay warm everyone.

Temps were in the low 30's this morning so I got another fire going. I may let it go out since it is 76 in the living room. Looks like I will have my last fire tomorrow. Saturday starts to warm up into the upper 60's and then into the 70's.

It's too early for me to make a statement like that but I see some temps coming in the upper 50's very soon!
