Dennis, I had to mow my high spots already. We have a heat wave coming, expected to be near 80 tomorrow and just over that Wednesday. Here come the bugs...
It does not bother me. Several times I offered to make a nice lawn for my wife but she did not want one! That was fine with me.
Jason, I was just talking to my son, who lives by Reading. They are to get warm but not like you. My comment was if it gets to 80 now, what will July be like??
And here I am seeing a hint of the gravel driveway!!! Iron River area got almost 2' a day or two ago.
Yeah my lawn is in full sun and about half bare. Gets a lot of wind too so lots blows off. Still plenty where it’s shaded and in the woods. Snowbanks for at least another month. Here is a picture from last Wednesday at one of my dealers up in Fort Kent
Supposed to get more snow tomorrow. Depending who you read, up to 8” or as little as 1”. Others just rain. I’m supposed to get 9 IBC totes tomorrow. The trailer is sitting in a lake on top of ice.
It was a beautiful spring evening so we took a walk out back before the sun set. The farmer is digging a new resevoir and piling the sand to use in the bogs. Of course the kids had to race to the top.
Headed out for the morning walk an hour ago. After I slushed through the driveway and made it to the road, found out it was nothing but ice! Back was protesting with every step on the way. Heck, even the dogs stayed in the yard at the house! It was a unanimous decision to postpone the event. I think I may have seen a robin yesterday; not so sure though. It was about 20 miles from here so it doesn't really count anyway. But, I did see a couple of pooping machines (Canadian geese) the evening before. Must have a bit of open water somewhere near.
My new saw is sitting in the basement still without being run because we have such incredible beautiful weather here in Minnesota
Well I'm going to the store a half hour from me as interim receiving manager. Could end up being permanent if I don't screw it up
Thanks. In spite of its many benefits, I don't think I quite would have liked it at our new unit in here. I'm glad to be getting out of working in town.
I have been slandarded! I need a FHC lawyer quick. I taught my 22 month old granddaughter the word “bucket” yesterday while picking up pine cones. Her thing. Not mine. She said it to her mama. Her mama misinterpreted the word. Asked Princess who taught her that word. She truthfully said Poppi. Mama said that figures. And the fight started…. Sigh. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
