Or CCGTG. Say that 10 times fast. Weekend of May 20th. Friday- Sunday Starting another thread for attendance and whatever folks want to bring etc etc. Thinking we keep this one short and confined to mostly those issues so it’s easy for everyone to see and keep track of the planning. Any other ideas or questions we can field those on the other thread here. Connecticut GTG
It's on my calendar! I plan to day-trip down, getting there as early Saturday morning as I can. Looking forward to putting faces to names!
I’m in for a day trip on Saturday. I’ll bring the Ooni pizza oven, propane for the oven and a small table. I could also possibly cook or prep on the truck tailgate, but want to be mindful of your property. No issues moving the setup to the area where the action is. I’ll make some dough too. Given the speed….or shall I say time it takes to cook pizzas, this will be a good supplement to other food items.
Im there on Saturday. I can come Friday and help set up etc. if need be. Not sure if ill stay Saturday night as i dont drink, but would really enjoy BSing in front of a fire well into the night. Been a few years since i slept in a tent.
If I don't have to work the night before, I can be there as early as setting up for the event is needed. I'll bring weenies (cheddarwurst) and buns, dessert, maybe appetizer Might bring Stumpy. Also will have saws, maul, and the will to tackle a group project of any kind.
I can setup next to you Was planning on working out of the truck bed as well. Joes yard will look like the food court in the mall. However I prefer a maul over a mall any day.
Sadly, he will be out west. He is getting married out there in a few short weeks, and planning on staying out there.
Sorry to hear he cant make it. Best wishes for him and his bride. Are you and the Mrs. giving him a chain saw as a wedding gift?
he never got into cutting, although he has been trained. Splitting was more his forte', going after the physical exertion.
Well then i guess an Isocore will suffice since he will have a battle axe after the ceremony! Just kidding there Dave. She's a lucky woman. He's a great "kid". Ill miss hoarding with him.
Funny enough, one of their first dates was at college, to the splitting yard. She can swing a maul or axe. I'll miss hoarding with him too, we had many good hours relationship building with him (and others) doing that work.
