Widow maker at camp

    Yesterday's winds uprooted this tree at my campsite. Until the tree is moved the site is unusable. The tree was being used as electrical pole also. Line didn't snap but its probably a good thing the power was still off for the winter 701564942.jpg 701564967.jpg

    Makes me wonder being a campground tree, how much metal is in it beyond what's holding a power line.

    It won't be my saw hitting any metal. Campground gets to keep the wood and he contracted the removal. Good thing, to I don't see how to get it down without a crane

    Yep it was nearly 70 during the high wind that took the tree down.
