    Thought I would share this. First attempt at a knife. Been a few years since I made it. Gave it to an older feller that was a mentor to me. Haven't made another. It's just a material removal, but I did harden and anneal it( old circular saw blade). Thinking about getting a forge and trying my hand at the real thing. It has stabilized sycamore blanks and the pins are brass rods I scronged from work. He hasn't kept it oiled apparently and we live in a high humidity climate.     Thanks guys and gals. Not something I want to get into seriously, but I would like to learn how to forge Damascus to make chisels and punches for work
