Morning All. Dark but not wet outside yet. Supposed to rain. campinspecter has a load of firewood to take to Mom's today if the rain holds off. I got some sewing down yesterday. I also had an eye exam and there have been no major changes to my vision since 2019 which is great news. Just need better lighting when working on close work.

Chazsbetterhalf Good to hear from you. I hope rehab goes smoothly for you.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning! 44F and light rain, tapering off as the day goes on. Ended up staying home last night so did a few chores in the house (we had heavy rains). Music practice at church tonight. That's about it. Have a God day!

Dad just mows his down late fall... Mine isn't so easy to mow... So I burn in early spring...

From him they did it when they grew up... Plus I know it does help with weed control a bit... Since most things can tolerate it... I haven't seen any adverse effects from it...

Is it for taste or soil/weed control?

Good Morning... :coffee: ... Friday... I can make one prediction with quite certainty... it wont be another 12 hour day... might be close ... got a Chiropractor appointment that I had to delay from Wednesday to Friday... But suppose to be a raw wet day today with highs in the 40s and rain... :singingintherain::fire::fire::fire:

Thanks, he had always wanted to build furniture, so in 1980, he started phasing out the country store business and started doing repair/refinishing work and building craft projects. Then he got into building fine furniture. He built between 55-60 clocks in the 20 years he worked.

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. I get off for the weekend at 7...:dex::dancer:...
Going to get breakfast, then swing by the house for tools and ladder. Going to put my electrician hat on this morning, helping our friends wire up their shop/storage building.
    Be blessed, be a blessing

Mornin' all. 27/38 and clear here today. "Weather Experts" are predicting 5" of wet heavy snow between Sat/Sun. Not much on the agenda here today. Everyone stay safe and have a great day.

Morning all. Rain sliding down the windows this morning. Yesterday's weather turned out really nice. campinspecter got the truck unloaded at Mom's and then the power went out for three hours. Neighbour came up and got her generator going so we could have a hot lunch. Unfortunately it was a vehicle accident that cut off the power.

Today is end of week chores. I might be able to get down into the sewing room again.
Tomorrow will be a long day. Three hour drive to church and then a funeral afterwards. Bright spot will be seeing our two girls tomorrow. Sad that the only family gatherings we seem to have in the last couple of years are funerals for the older members of the family. Younger folk don't seem to be getting married , just living together.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning! 40F and cloudy, rain possible later on. Snagged some pallets after work yesterday so I need to build more firewood racks with them. Customer texted wanting a delivery tonight. I still have to change the alternator in the truck so I'll take a partial load in the van and finish up next week. Have a God day!

Good morning. My wife and I are heading to the cabin for a long weekend. It has been snowing off and on since we were there at the end of February so it will still be a winter wonderland with the benefit of slightly warmer temperatures than earlier this winter.
