No sun shining here....at least not below the cloud cover!

But, temp is 39 so there is a very slow melt going on. Still 30" on the ground.

Yesterday took care of sweeping the chimney and then took care of the hydraulic fluid in the (electric) splitter and found some difficulty with the design.

Spent a decent part of today daydreaming about how I'll do the fluid change differently next time. Plenty of time to come up with something fun.

    Rain. Must be spring.

This is the first morning i can look out my window and not see snow on the ground. I hope it stays this way now.

Ironwood, MI still has over 30" of snow on the ground so it might be a while yet for them, but this is normal.

So glad you have some real dogs living with you. They take care of those predator situations. I often thought a Great Pyrenees is a great dog to have where predators are an issue.

We still have it here, but out in the open area, there are fields with only spots of snow. We are usually among the last to loose snow cover, but that is OK. it protects the plants from those late freezing's that do the killing.
Will get 3in snow this weekend. With the sun so high, it won't last.

I should say, last I know for.

I can't say I much care what else is in the mall. But I am questioning whether this means it's time to move on.

I saw a little person in the distance like 10' high off the ground. And a doggie running around them, took me a second and realize they're both mine, the iceberg snowdrifts went further than I thought. Anyway they had a great time. Been warmer here but just enough snow every couple nights to turn the icebergs white again, makes the house bright and cheery with sun reflecting off them. Boo, cooler this weekend. No worries, I saw spring peepers today!

Calling for snow this weekend here. Daughters regular season softball starts Saturday and Sunday, double headers every day. I think it’s supposed to hit 40 where she is and be more wet than white. Gonna suck for sure.

I am ready for some green grass and the sound of peepers. Enough of this winter. I am hoping for some warm weather and gentle breezes.

The only birds I hear outside now are crows and woodpeckers. And crows. Oh yeah, did I mention that crows are back now? :picard:

There goes the neighborhood!
