Not much sleep overnight. Did not feel good yesterday so maybe that had something to do with it. I was awake from 1:20 until around 5:00 then got about an hour and a half more sleep. Not feeling too bad now.

Black & blue almost gone from my arm and it doesn't hurt much at all.

Another option you can use is, "I'm still vertical and sucking air so it's a pretty good day."

My response was actually about a hand injury, in case you didn't know the back story. So functional is actually a pretty significant improvement. I'm please to have 2 hands with 10 appendages at this point. :D

Good morning! 40F and a light mist. Rain moving in this afternoon. Made some bundles last night and refilled the roadside stand. Cut up an IBC bladder to cover a rack of hickory. Grabbed a few plastic crates this morning since I didn't find the pallets I was looking for. Bible study at church tonight. Have a God day!

Our retired pastor always says "he is vertical and ventilating". He told that to a phone call salesman and the response was " Oh, sorry to bother you. I will phone back at a more convenient time" This was way before COVID and ventilators became part of our everyday conversations.

Morning All. Dreary with fog outside this morning. Eye exam this morning so it will be a busy morning. If the weather picks up and dries out, campinspecter may go for a load of firewood. I was hoping for better weather while I was off but it doesn't look like we will get it.

    Everyone have a great day.

Chvymn99 What is this 'burnt off my asparagus patch and salted it' all about? I do have an asparagus patch and the only thing I do is remove the dead stuff from last year and call it good enough.:handshake:I see you already answered this question that others posted. What kind of salt do you use?

I just burn it off in the early spring, lots of grass and weeds. Just easier to deal with than mowing over... Then the salt is just a fine salt that i get at the feed store. I'll try to take picture in the next day or two. The salt Dad passed onto me, from them using it when he was young... :handshake:

Burning part of my patch wouldn't be a good idea since it is next to a propane tank:hair::hair::hair:

    Good morning, members.

Scattered showers around, later. Warmest start in. Oaths at 47⁰. Mid-50's later, overcast.

I stepped out on the deck with my coffee a few used ago. I heard peepers(tree toads) for the 1st time this year. A sure sign of spring!

I'll top off my deck rack before the showers arrive. Grocer shopping afterwards.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

    Good morning y'all.

67/75 with gobs of rain on the way.

Planning to pour concrete around the posts today, and we need to move 5 tons of round bales into the barn before it rains.

    Have a blessed day, y'all.

    Thank you brother.

My dad was a builder, so it's in my blood.

Btw, I was really impressed with the clock you and your dad made, that's a very special heirloom!

I hope you're able to get the bales moved before they get wet.

Mornin' all, 32/43 and cloudy. Was supposed to have freezing rain/rain here today, but so far nothing. Going to install a back-up hitch cam on my truck this morning. Tired of getting in and out of the truck 20 times when I am trying to hook up. Everyone have a great day and stay safe.
