Yea, I went with the B2650 as it had a little more lift capacity than the L2501, but 1 size down with the frame. It's a little more nimble but needs more ballast to make up for the smaller frame. Been happy with it this far, does everything I need it to and more.
We officially got a blizzard. Power went out for a while. I was napping and using my Bipap when that happened. Wasn't off but about a half hour. High wind and sideways snow. Can't say how much snow we got with all that wind and the drifting. As always, I don't go out in that mess. Riley (dog) goes out, does what he needs to and comes right back to the door. We have a full view door. He is always able to see us waiting for him. Other folks around here haven't been so lucky getting the power back. Going to be a long cold night for some. The storm is expected to clear out tomorrow. This being Maine, we will ger cleared out fairly fast after the storm stops.
Looks like my forecast is going to involve lots of snow from thu - sat. It may begin with a rain/snow mix.....hope the power stays on. Company showing up today will be leaving early tomorrow to beat the weather. Short visit.
Typically, they break when shoveling the roof. I use them to "cut pieces of cake" nd pry them loose. That way, they slide of the roof much easier. But, the aluminum just can't handle a yooper prying on the handle back and forth while cutting those chunks!
Yes, they have a list of people that are using medical devices and need to power them back up ASAP. At least our local power provider does...and being on that list makes it harder for the company to shut off power for non payment too.
Just got done shoveling the garage lean-to roofs. Just in case we do get the 18" that is predicted..... I am spent!
Come on now yooperdave that snows only shovel deep.. road plow pushes one side and shovel sidewalks on top of other on green belt.. That’s not deep until it covers stop signs!!
I don't know about that. Any amount of snow is more than enough. As for ice, only need ice enough to chill beverages. As for wind, just enough to keep the bugs off. Like cold or Heat enough to have changes in the seasons.
Just came in from blowing, shoveling, and tractoring the 18” we got from walk and driveway. Had a moment there. My Kubota has the HST transmission and it’s always whined a little loud. They’re known for it. Any way as I’m shoving snow around with the bucket, the tractor kept getting real quiet. Kinda concerned me as this was different than normal. Worried I’d crammed snow up around the fan underneath or something else. Then it dawned on me. I had stopped and taken a work call when shoveling by hand and put my air pods in that I’d gotten for Xmas. They have an “active noise cancellation” mode. It listens via an external microphone to surroundings and then does noise cancellation to match into your ears. I must have got it turned on by mistake. Let me tell you, that tractor has never ran that quiet! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
