Actually 18+, I'm at the edge of that white band. I am at a lower elevation but I currently have about 5" and shoveled off the ramp out the back door for the first time about 1/2 and hour ago.
Can you imagine dealing with that with horse and wagon? Impressive that the Donner party made it as long as they did. We are just a bunch of pansies compared to our ancestors
Around here lots of people put snowblowers on their tractors. No banks that way. Or have 3/4 ton trucks with bigger blades. 8 1/2 foot is the smallest most use. My last good plow 8-10 XLS Fisher. Loved it and wished I never sold it.
Yup! Looking at a LX2610 now and also a B2650. Tractor place has a couple used front snowblowers for the 2650 right now. The 2650 isn't in production any longer but accessories should still be available for some time. (heated cab....!)
I already had the 1/2 ton with the straight blade before I bought this place. It has done well. Yes on the front mount snowblower. Thats why I'm looking at justifying a tractor purchase.
I know all about those, brother! I usually ended up with the long handled steel shovel. I remember grabbing a shovel full of snow, throwing it up the bank as high as I could get it, and then watching most of it slide right back down onto where I had just shoveled! And getting that "I'm even more tired now" feeling..... I used plastic for pushing snow around for years now.
I’d rather go I90 than 70. that load got pushed off to next week. I’m now being told I get to sit on my load until the weekend or Monday now. Crane was scheduled for Wednesday. so no clue what I get to do.
Oh I see, I thought you were headed home, I get it, you do a load on the way back too. Interesting, a lot of times my husband has a heck of a time getting roofing stuff transported. He's had to go to private brokers several times out of his own pocket.
I just got a new one, old one was shaped more like a spade. And don’t get them plastic ones, they break too easily.
We had a steel one when I was a kid. My sister had horses so I guess it was justified scooping the poop. I was so happy when that handle gave out.
Once again I am clearly in 2-4 inch range top of map right of lake.. 12 hours ago Wait for it.., 8” on the ground which was already white.. so bogieb forecaster sucks as bad as mine
