Shaggin on the boulevard

Ground was just hard enough for a wood run. Getting pretty greasy by noon when I headed home. Shag bark hickory in the first picture then topped it off with more red oak.

 

Shaggy is the bees knees round here! Nice get.

 

Been quite a few years since I got any shaggy. Burned some pignut 2 winters ago.

 

Great score! Hickory is my new favorite firewood. I’ve got my eye on this pre split beast.

I thought of that movie when I made the thread. Also thought of the get together they have in North Myrtle Beach in September, it is a busy area on Main street if we are there in September.
