Put a few splits of white oak in with doaty sapwood on the outside. One maple round, and a doaty white oak split. And it's 47f outside right now.
74/34 load of silver maple, ash and a split of hickory in the fireview. Damp outside feels much colder than 34.
30 here. Was a beautiful sunny day and lost most of the snow that fell yesterday. Been working on beech the past week or so. Tonight is no different.
Around 25 here overnight. Got some dry oak and sub par elm in for the overnight. All I have that’s really dry is oak and locust so trying to mix in some elm seeing it’s not that cold. Just starting to fire off a bit.
32 woke up and saw 1/2” of some white bs on the ground. Dropped a huge white oak knot in the stove. Sleet and rain day
32° outside, 73° in. More Milwaukee county parks department Norway maple and some ash in the quadrafire on my 1 hour less sleep thanks to DST. I should be good though. I was going to bed earlier than usual for the last 3 days. Oh yeah, snowing all day apparently here. We have to make a run to the next town over, about 15 miles each way.
26. Plowed some before and the rest after church and will have to plow once again tonight/tomorrow; probably 8" so far.
35/72 going to 32 overnight. Weather guessers keep saying rain and snow but none yet. Have more cherry and locust rolling along in the Buck.
27 and light snow. Supposed to get cold the next 2 nights then warm toward the weekend. We may even see 50 this weekend! It will be welcome.
22 this morning heading towards 32. 47 tomorrow and 60+ Wednesday. Locust, ash & mulberry in the stove.
37/71 beech and hackberry keeping us warm. 80 last week...freeze warnings for the next three nights. Go figure.
