My old coffee maker, that I bought for something like $12 in 2013 (when I moved here) had technical difficulties. I decided to replace it. Bet you have a hard time seeing the differences
Gonna run out for the milk and bread, weather guy said we are in the jackpot area for the coming nor’easter.
I'm in the highest amount area also. Sunday is my usual day for groceries for me and the neighbor. For myself, I only needed apples, bananas, light cream and eggs. I hadn't even thought about those getting ready for the storm - that's why they were a bit busier than normal.
I always keep an emergency beer supply on hand in case I can't get to the store or they are out of beer, so beer wouldn't be on my snow storm list. Everything else I will take my chances or do without.
I usually stock 2 30 packs in my little fridge in the garage then some in the house. When a shelf is empty in the garage I pick up another 30. You never know.
I'll have to ask the kids. I think they head up to the Forks, but I am not sure on this one. About 10 yrs ago, I drove my van up to some of the wind mills. I was very impressed. I couldn't hear them, but they were moving slowly. I was so impressed with their size. The white color blends in well. When at a distance, you have to be looking for them. I saw some pictures about how they are transported to the mountains. Interesting how they make the turns onto roads. I have a cousin who used to work maintaining the wind mills.
Ouch, better to clean up a mess than fall trying to prevent it. I used to tell that to all my patients. Broken bones, strains and cuts are far worse than any mess. Most falls in the elderly occur while trying to get to the bathroom.
