30 here now, predicted to drop into the mid 20's. We've had about 4" of snow today with another 4" predicted overnight. Burning beech and red oak and the house is a cozy 72. No plans tonight other than to relax. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Yeah, the idiots were wrong again. We did get some overnight but when they came out with the new forecast it said anothe 3' today but all we got were flurries. I'm fine with it but wish they would shape up with their forecasting as they have been really bad this winter.

Snow off and on today but nothing stuck. Full on mud season again. :( Next 3 days are rain/snow mix bag, Monday is straight up 1/4-1/2" rain.
38/76 red oak, chestnut oak and one stick of birch.

Sounds like we are getting the slush Monday night and Tuesday. Forecast calls for snow/rain switching back and forth.

Nothing like coming downstairs to a warm living room after a full night sleep.
Dusting of snow outside. Open the stove door and it gradually starts to give the glow of embers through the ash.

Mid 20s outside. 70 inside. Stove is already up and running.
    Time for a coffee.

Up to 33f and 0.42" rain. So much better than a bunch of white stuff or slush that was predicted.
    I so miss my truck.:(

42/72. Still getting some heat from this morning's load of maple, oak and sycamore. Beautiful day here, worked hard for a load of shagbark, had to wheelbarrow up a slight grade. Still on the truck as I was tuckered out. Probably try to unload in the morning before church.
