Yes. Apparently I was born in a blizzard. So it figures. Here's my carrot cake that my wife got me for work
When she gets one for me, make it bannana. Born in a blizzard, eh. Maybe like a blaze of glory? See you soon.
Egaads, I fell hard today, all the way. Knee and elbow are blue. I was breaking down a cardboard amazon box, doggie started to throw up so I tried to jump over the box to put dog outside. Guess I missed or it regained the box shape. I went towards the door and a split second later I was hitting the floor.
It's currently dumping snow here. 5-8" or so. Could be some extra on top of that with lake effect. Definitely working from home tomorrow, snow is only part of the reason, the other part is my nearest coworker was sick today, said he almost called in today, and his whole family is sick. He's coming in tomorrow. Well that sealed it for me, I'm WFH. Mostly so I don't get sick. Dude, that's why you get so many vacation and sick days. Use them. He doesn't go on vacation, not now with a newborn and a 3 yr old. Guy has a small home, like 1000 square feet and with the older kid and a dog all running around, and if the newborn is crying, I can see with daycare closed it could be a zoo at his house, but going to work and possibly getting others sick because of this is one of my biggest pet peeves.
Dang it H!!!!!!!! Might I suggest a few paper towels spent cleaning upchuck is less painful than the alternative… Rest up
Sorry to hear this. Sometimes inanimate things just do contrary things, like they are out to get us. So now you know how it happened.
That stinks, get well soon. Last week while coming down the stairs I slipped on kitty puke. Luckily, I didn't go down the stairs, but left hip took the brunt of it and still hard to lay on it. Definitely not picture worthy, unless you like horror movies.
Last week one day I was splitting some wood with my lil electric splitter sitting on the tailgate of my truck...it was about dark so I started wrapping things up. I put the splitter on the ground and closed the tailgate...it was at that point where I noticed a log on the ground I wanted to pick up, I took one step and tripped over the splitter that I had just placed on the ground, falling with all my weight on my left knee directly on the concrete! It hurt quite a bit when I got up, but I just kept moving to "shake it off" knowing that I was probably about to start bleeding, so better get into the house soon. Surprisingly there was no bleeding, and the next day it was only a little sore. Feel better soon fellow fallers!
I get to drive across Wyoming with this load. 14’,1” tall and 10’,6” wide The wife sent me this picture of how much snow she got yesterday. So we dodged that bullet. Be careful with your falls. I have a broken bone in my wrist that no 30 some years later is haunting me. Get well soon guys.
Had some visitors in the front yard while I'm getting ready for my production meeting. It's still snowing, but I think it's mostly done, for today.
