Fine looking dog. Does Roscoe like everyone in the family equally?

My wife always jokes that the dog likes her way less than me but in all fairness its true. I feel bad sometimes, wife gets home and the dog doesn't get up from her bed. When I get home she jumps up to see me and is excited.

 

Yep, almost same reaction to getting home from work. I do exercise him more than her, mostly with a frisbee. He does show her just as much affection and respect when I'm around though. But he's always looking at me for playtime. I have a nice purple/black upper eyelid right now. We were rough housin' and he reared up and head butted me in the right eyebrow.

 

Who feeds the dog?

 

I'll get down and the floor/ground to play with the bernese mountain dog. That danged big lug (11 months now) will swing his head around and catch me in the nose, eye or other sensitive areas.

More than one time I've ended up seeing stars from him.....just like competing in martial arts tournaments once again!

 

I feed her more but I also don't clip her toe nails or wash her when she gets sprayed by a skunk. So far an annual occurrence. I also take her on truck rides.

 

Heck, with that approach, probably 75% of the members here would like you better than your wife too!

 

I would bet my next week's salary that Tucker just feels sorry for you! Definitely loves your wife more!! Lol

 

Eh, that's cause most people on this site don't know what's good for em.

 

My welcome home greeting...every time, Two of the dogs in the vid are gone so the greeting is a little less intense now days but still enthusiastic.

I remember when you posted that the first time. I went and played it and the two dogs here nearly went berserk trying to figure out where the dogs were.

 

Holly is definitely Chaz's dog. But he is the one to take her for walks around the yard.

Timber last night after Hayden and Timber were out playing for a couple of hours

 

You can send Bella here for a month or so during the summer to help train the lab to keep ducks/seagulls/geese from using my dock as an outhouse!

And, she'll get that natural "rough and comfortable" look back within a week!

 

Bella is so adorable all the time, but especially so after the groomer cleans her up.
