Where do you get bulk chain from? The only place I can find is Northern Tool. Anyone use someplace else?

I have bought from Frawleys before & he has excellent support & fast shipping.

Amicks has good prices also on 3/8” chain.

    +1 for Frawleys/Loggerchain.
Also check out Stahls. I know their loops are priced great. Never bought bulk there.

I’d go look at menards for what they have in stock for premade chain.

    IE

for me to make all the chains I’d need 66 drive links. Makes it $14.50 each.

I bought these at menards and with the 11% sale, they were $13.50 each.

That's much different chain J. The loops you have are a folded over raker/depth gauges. Undesirable IMO.

Supposedly there is a place in middlefield that sells bulk chain at a good price. Never looked into it though.

    Good catch. thanks.

I got them because the hardware store wanted $43 for the same package. Menards wanted $13.50 after their rebate.

I’ve got a bunch of trees to clean up this spring with metal and fencing around them and don’t want to destroy my good chains.

Talk to a local shop about getting a roll or three on their bulk order. Usually some money to be saved if you're patient and can wait until the timing is right.

I can't recall the name, guy told me about it few years back but middlefield isn't very big.
I did a google map search and there seems like it might be 1 of the three they list. I would try bylers first, first quality or country mower next.
